A spark in a crisis
The COVID-19 pandemic transformed lives worldwide, forcing people indoors to stay safe. While this brought safety, it also led to anxiety and isolation. Saransh found himself in this predicament—his gym closed, he was left without the one thing that kept him grounded. Witnessing the widespread lack of awareness about health and wellness in India during this time ignited a realization: there was a pressing need for a health and fitness platform that offered easy accessibility and a diverse range of fitness solutions for everyone. This was the moment the idea behind FitnEarn was born.

From Vision to Collaboration
With a seed of inspiration planted, Saransh began discussing his vision with friends and family. Although online fitness platforms existed, many were expensive or limited in scope. Emerging platforms that rewarded walking primarily connected with urban youth, leaving a significant gap for a broader audience.Through countless brainstorming sessions, the vision for FitnEarn evolved into a comprehensive health and fitness product designed for all Indians. This year also marked the entry of Suyash—Saransh’s younger brother, confidante, and tech enthusiast—into the journey. Together, this dynamic duo infused the project with renewed enthusiasm and commitment.

Laying the Foundation
The year 2022 was dedicated to laying the groundwork. The team focused on gathering user feedback, conducting surveys, and outlining the product's preliminary design and requirements. After months of research, planning and iterations, FitnEarn officially came into existence in July 2022. From that point forward, design and project planning took centre stage as the team worked tirelessly to bring their vision to life.

Overcoming Challenges
As development progressed rapidly throughout 2023, we faced typical startup hurdles. Team dynamics shifted as members joined and left, impacting timelines and workflows. Recognizing the need for stability, Saransh and Suyash focused on expanding their team with motivated individuals who shared their passion for fitness and innovation.This year was about resilience—overcoming challenges together while keeping our eyes on our mission.

A Grand Launch and New Beginnings
With a dedicated team of 15 enthusiasts on board, we reached the final stages of development by September 2024. After rigorous testing, we proudly launched the FitnEarn app on Dhanteras in October 2024, making it available on both iOS and Android app stores. Alongside this milestone, we unveiled our meticulously designed website during Diwali celebrations.The response was incredible—over hundred of downloads on launch day alone! This marks not just a launch but the beginning of a new chapter where we strive to make India healthier and fitter.
